Terms
The terms for using FPV Airspace, run by Fetch Labs Ltd.
DraftFor review before launch. The wording may change; what it describes is what the service does now.
01What the service is
FPV Airspace gathers published airspace, land and weather information to help you plan a flight. It is information, not a pre-flight briefing or permission to fly. It can be incomplete or out of date, and how much data it has varies by country; where it has none for a place, it says so. You remain responsible for flying safely and lawfully, and for checking the official sources and NOTAMs before you fly.
02Subscription
The apps, the web map and connected AI assistants need a subscription (£2.49 a month or £19.99 a year) after a free week. It is billed where you bought it (the App Store, Google Play or the web) and renews until you cancel it there. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's own rules for their stores; for the web, email support@fpv-airspace.app. On the web, checkout asks you to confirm that your subscription should start straight away. Once it has started, the 14-day right to cancel for a refund no longer applies; you can still cancel at any time to stop it renewing. If you choose a plan during your free week, billing starts when the week ends; Stripe emails you a reminder before then, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. A subscription is for the account that bought it and is not shared with others. We will tell you before a price changes, and a new price applies only from your next renewal after that.
03Fair use
Use FPV Airspace through its apps, web map and connected AI assistants. Do not copy it in bulk, scrape it, resell it, or try to get round its sign-in, subscription or limits. We may suspend an account that does.
04The data
Much of the data is published by others under open licences, credited on the Sources page. These terms cover the service; they do not restrict what those licences allow you to do with the data itself.
05Our responsibility
We take care to keep the service accurate and running, but cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from relying on it in place of the official sources. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
06Changes and law
We will post changes to these terms here, and say so in the apps and on this site, before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
