What FPV Airspace keeps about you, why, and for how long. Fetch Labs Ltd runs the service and is responsible for your information.

DraftFor review before launch. The wording may change; what it describes is what the service does now.

01Your account

An account is a random identifier. It holds no name. Each phone or tablet you use makes a key that never leaves it; we keep its public half, the platform, whether Apple or Google confirmed the app is genuine (App Attest or Play Integrity), and when it was first and last used.

If you link an Apple or Google account to sign in, we keep that provider's identifier for you and, if it shares one, your email address. For Apple we also keep a token that lets us revoke the link when you delete your account.

A web sign-in keeps a session for up to 30 days; we store only a hash of its cookie.

02Subscriptions

We record which subscription you hold, where it was bought (the App Store, Google Play or the web), the store's or Stripe's reference for it, whether it is a free week, and when it ends. Payments are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe; we never see card details.

03Places you look up

The places and points you ask about, including your position when you use it, go to our servers to work out the answer and are not stored with your account. Answers are cached by place, without your account, so the next person asking about the same place gets them faster. Our hosting keeps request logs for a few days to find faults.

04On your device

Flight plans, places you watch, alerts and settings stay on your device. On iPhone and iPad they can follow you between your devices through iCloud. The flight briefing is written on your device (Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano) from the facts on the card; nothing is sent elsewhere to write it.

05AI assistants

When you connect FPV Airspace to an AI assistant, we keep the connection (the assistant's name, what it may read, and when you allowed it) so it can answer for you. Disconnect it from your account at any time. What you ask the assistant is kept by its provider under its own policy.

06Who helps us

  • Cloudflare: hosting.
  • Apple: the App Store, App Attest, Sign in with Apple, Apple Maps and, in the iPhone app, Apple Weather.
  • Google: Google Play, Play Integrity, Sign in with Google and, in the Android app, Google Maps.
  • Stripe: web payments, and the receipts and free-week reminders it emails you.
  • Visual Crossing: rain radar images. Our servers fetch them; your device never contacts Visual Crossing.
  • Postcodes.io, OpenStreetMap's Nominatim and Ordnance Survey's OS Names: finding the places you search for. Our servers send them only the words you search for.
  • YouTube (Google): the flight video on the home page, in its privacy-enhanced player and only once you press play. YouTube's own privacy policy then applies.

Our servers read weather from Open-Meteo's open data and maps of the ground from OpenStreetMap; neither receives anything about you.

07How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. We delete an account 30 days after it has no device, sign-in method, session or purchase left. A record of account events (sign-ins, purchases, deletions) is kept for a year for security. It holds the random identifier, the device involved and what happened, such as which store a purchase came from, never your name or email.

08Deleting your account, and your rights

To delete your account, go to Settings, Account, Delete account in the app, or press Delete on your account page. This removes your account, devices, sign-in methods, sessions, connected assistants and subscription records straight away. A web subscription is cancelled with it; one bought in the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled there.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or for it to be corrected or deleted, at support@fpv-airspace.app. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
